Since the reboot, we have found a better, more interactive way of leveling up. From now on, in order to get to the next year, you must attend Hogwarts classes, and complete 75% of all homework. Ranks will go as followed:
First year: All new members will automatically be placed into first year, unless they become a moderator or administrator.
Perks of a first year: You'll need to complete less homework than other years to advance.
Disadvantages of being a First year: The only places open to you are those that pertain to the muggle world and hogwarts, as well as shopping areas(except hogsmeade). You will also not be able to purchase or use brooms, except in flying class.
Second Year: Once you have completed your first year you will go on to your second year.
Perks: You will now be able to own your own broom and fly them around the grounds. You will also be able to try out for the quidditch team and participate in matches. The Chamber of Secrets will be opened to those who can find the secret.
Disadvantages: Same as first years, but without the broom restrictions
Third year: You will now have more classes to your class list
Perks: Hogsmeade will be open to you
Disadvantages: You will have slightly more homework than before
Fourth Year: You will have the option to prune one class from your list
Perks: The TriWizard Tournemant will be open to you
Disadvantages: DADA will now spend the most part of the year teaching you about the dangers of dark magic, as well as the unforgivable curses, as well as famous dark witches and wizard throughout time
Fifth Year: You will be able to remove another class
Perks: You will now have the Option to tour the ministry, signups will be available at the Headmasters Office. The room of requirement will be open to those who need it most
Disadvantages: You'll have to deal with umbridge
Sixth year: You may choose the classes you want for the career you want
Perks: Choosing your classes as well as Being able to learn apparation
Disadvantages: School is almost over
Seventh year: Your final year
Perks: You will have the least homework of all years. At the end of the year the teachers will tell you how to get career. You can now use magic whenever you want
Disadvantages: Last year of Hogwarts
Witch/Wizard: you made it!!!
Perks: The world will be open to you. Your choice of career, ability to buy a house, ability to buy a shop
Disadvantages, you actually have to rp in your career to obtain galleons
